Tawteen program is designed to ensure that citizens have the capabilities required by inculcating values and developing soft and hard skills. The program aims to create job opportunities for males and females, and targets graduates or job seekers who have stopped working for no more than three months.

Program Goals: Tawteen program targtes the Supermarkets & Hypermarkets sector, which aims to employ more than 20,000 Saudi job seeker across the kingdom, and is one of the newly updated employment programs by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. Employers Incentives

Employers Incentives

Wages Subsidies

Incentive Amount
Between 30%-50% out from the monthly salary but not exceeding 5,000 SR

Period of Incentive
Monthly for 13 months

Eligibility
1) The job must be one of the jobs eligible for support in the program.
2) The total salary should not exceed 15,000 SR.

On-Job training Subsidies

Incentive Amount
Coverage up to 3,000 SR.

Period of Incentive
One Time

Eligibility
1) Identifying the appropriate training needs for each job seeker, the employer offers a training program within the institution.

Certified Training Subsidies

Incentive Amount
Tawteen program covers the cost of approved training up to a specified ceiling.

Period of Incentive
One Time

Eligibility
1) Identifying the appropriate training needs for each job seeker. The employer provides the training program through an accredited training institution.

Remotely work job Subsidies

Incentive Amount
8,000 SR

Period of Incentive
One Time

Eligibility
1) The work contract must be of the type of remote work contract approved by the Ministry.
2) The employee is paid after the fourth month of employment.

Moving Subsidies

Period of Incentive

Eligibility
1) Payable in the second month of employment.
2) The job qualification must be a bachelor’s degree or higher.
3) The job must be outside the city of residence of the employee.
4) Employees with a remote work contract are not entitled to support.

Transportation

Incentive Amount
1,100 SR monthly for salaries less than 6,000 SR.
800 SR monthly for a salary between 6,000 SR – 8,000 SR.

Period of Incentive
Monthly for 13 months

Eligibility
1) The employee’s salary must be less than 8,000 riyals.
2) Employees with a remote work contract are not entitled to support.
3) The participation period of the beneficiary in social insurance should not exceed 36 months during the previous five years of employment in the program.

Childcare (Female)

Incentive Amount
Maximum 1,400 SR for each child, and childcare for 2 children at max.

Period of Incentive
Monthly for 13 months

Eligibility
1) It is paid to the centers approved by the Ministry.
2) The child must be under 6 years old.
3) The employee’s salary must be less than 8,000 riyals.
4) Employees with a remote work contract are not entitled to support.

Childcare (Employer)

Eligibility
1) Pays to the company that holds a valid license for a childcare center within the company.
2) The company must employ at least 10 mothers through the program.

Sustainment (Employee)

Sustainment (Employer)

Incentive Amount
Paying the contribution of the beneficiary companies to GOSI subscription (12% of the monthly wage) for the sustainable employees for a period of 12 months following the fulfillment of the eligibility conditions

Monthly for 13 months

Eligibility
1) Payment is made directly to the GOSI for employees who meet the requirements for sustainability
2) The employee’s contribution to the GOSI subscription shall stop being paid in the event of leaving work
3) Employers who sustain 50 or more employees who have been employed through the program for at least 13 months
